About the Team:
The Futures Technology team manage and maintain a combination of external vendor platforms and internally developed systems. The eTrading platforms cover all areas of eTrading, from client order entry through the order messages on global exchanges, Pre & Post Trade Risk and Allocation services.
The team spans the 3 main trading hubs (Hong Kong, New York, London), with team members in five locations (Guangzhou, Hong Kong, New York, London and Krakow).

Responsibilities:
The candidate will participate in the development and growth of existing and new futures ETD technologies in coordination with the business requirements .
The candidate will also be working in a devops model and will be responsible for assisting with front-line technology support, primarily supporting the US Trading Desk and Europe and Asia as needed.
The successful candidate will be a full stack engineer:
Involved with all phases of futures Technology projects which may include but are not limited to requirements gathering/analysis, design, architecting, project managing, development, testing and implementation.
Provide technical support of our execution stack. This will mean supporting both internal and external clients across both internal and vendor platforms and can include FIX client onboarding and certifications. You will also be responsible for incident and problem resolution and ensuring best in class service to our user base.

The key skills we are looking for is the ability to get into detail, articulate and communicate with a ranged of stakeholders from traders, external vendors to developers and engineers.
Experience with front office trading is highly required. Previous development skills with Java is required and Python is helpful but the most important skills we are looking for is that you are technically adept, eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, happy to challenge and be challenged and you want to join us on our technology journey.
Essential Candidate Requirements:
Must have strong technica l skills and have experience with Java and Python development. We are seeking someone with hands-on experience navigating UNIX/LINUX environments and shell scripting.
Must have some FO eTrading systems experience whether in Equities, Fixed income, Futures or FX
Good communication skills, Must be able to interact and work well with traders, back office personnel, vendors, futures business, other IT teams and Clients.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Vendor system knowledge Itiviti ULLINK, FIS Valdi, TT, Bloomberg TradeBook, Clearvision, Fidessa etc.
Knowledge and experience with the FIX Protocol for client FIX certification and normalization.
Scripting experience
