Overview:
This position is responsible for fulfilling data research and reporting needs relevant to the Agent contracting functions. The Sales Administration and Support Analyst works with department management by identifying, measuring, and monitoring critical processes in the Sales operation. The position is highly involved with agent contracting and validation systems. This position will conduct in-depth analysis on the life cycle of agent contracting and validation programs. In addition, they will monitor and report on all payments and deductions made to the agent’s commission associated to validation and the Agent contracts. They will maintain the systems and databases in support of the Sales functions. May serve as a project lead or co-lead and direct the work of others. Exercises discretion and independent judgment during the decision-making process.
Responsibilities:
Agent Validation Program
Administer, monitor, and analyze sales production.
Provide recommendations to management based on monitoring, research, and analysis.
Maintain confidentiality of agent income, personal information, and termination status.
Knowledge as a subject matter expert for all validation programs and systems, validation bonuses and income supplements.
Agent Licensing and Contracting
Coordinate agent and field support licensing for the entire state.
Submit all licenses to the Department of Insurance for processing.
Monitor and report on all test results, as well as advise when existing licensees are near non-compliance.
Coordinate contract signing with the Agency Support and Marketing Managers and Agency Managers.
Records & System Maintenance
Manage the Agent/County database. Enter any new agent information and maintain the accuracy of all existing records, especially agent Initial Appointment Obligations (IAO) and deferred compensation.
Primary person responsible for the Agent Directory and keeping the information current. Sends out company wide notice for any change in the agency force.
Reporting Responsibilities
Many various reports are analyzed and produced on a daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Most notably:
Quarterly production report generation for Property & Casualty and Southern Farm Bureau business. Supervise the release of the report and make sure it is released on time and with all required information.
Perform analysis and report on validation program performance and trends.
Perform analysis and report on contracting, terminations and payments associated to the Agent and Agency Manager contracts.
Perform analysis and report on recruiting facts and trends as it pertains to retention.
CSR Retention Award Program.
Business Transfers
Process all membership and policy transfers between agencies.
Monitor transfers to maintain ethical standards and harmonious business relationships.
Communicate and involve Agency Support & Marketing Management as needed.
Business Projects
Understands project methodology and project life cycle.
Works directly with appropriate personnel to understand project concept, objectives and approach.
Works with others to identify and staff appropriate project team members.
Serve on assigned projects as a SME and representative of the department.
Assists in or leads cross-functional business teams consisting of both internal and external resources throughout all phases of project lifestyles.
Other Responsibilities
Provide leadership to departmental support staff.
Assist other department members as required.
Have supportive attitude toward department and corporate goals.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualifying experience.
Sales exposure experience in Property and Casualty insurance is preferred.
Commitment to taking introductory insurance related educational courses as well as business analysis related courses is required.
Ability to perform in a highly confidential manner.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Superior computer skills; extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
Above average math aptitude.
Detail oriented.
Excellent communication skills (includes verbal, written, presentation and negotiating skills) and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Organizational ability.
Ability to perform under time constraints.
Able to adjust quickly to workplace change with minimal disruption.
