About the Job

We seek a Quality Analyst (QA) with in-depth knowledge of Salesforce to join our Salesforce QA & development team. The QA Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting all Salesforce-related development initiatives by validating Web Application and Salesforce functionalities against business requirements. This individual will be responsible for creating test plans, executing test cases, and performing various levels of testing, including functional, system integration, and regression testing. They will also be involved in production deployment support, develop automation testing around Salesforce, and have a willingness to learn Salesforce QA automation and AI technologies.

Duties and responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution: Design and implement comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on business requirements.

Functional Validation: Validate Web Application & Salesforce functionalities in line with the business requirements.

Testing Phases: Conduct functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and support smoke tests for production deployments.

Defect Tracking & Reporting: Report, analyze, and track defects using JIRA; actively collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues.

Test Automation: Develop and execute automation testing for Salesforce functionalities and be open to learning new tools related to QA automation & Salesforce AI.

API Testing: Test APIs using Postman or related software.

Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, the product team, and other QA specialists to ensure smooth project delivery.

Agile/Scrum: Actively participate in team standups, planning, and other Agile/Scrum-related meetings to maintain seamless communication with the development team.

Test Summary Reporting: Provide detailed test summary reports, analyzing testing outcomes and suggesting improvements.

SDLC Adherence: Follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and QA best practices.

Requirements

Experience:   

2+ years of experience in testing all phases of QA efforts for successful Salesforce implementation projects.

Experience in testing APIs using Postman or similar software.

Technical Skills:   

Strong knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Familiarity with test management applications in JIRA (e.g., Zephyr Scale).

Experience in defect tracking, reporting, and analysis using JIRA.

Soft Skills: 

Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Methodologies:   

Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Willingness to Learn: 

A strong desire to learn Salesforce QA automation and AI functionalities.

Preferred Skills (Not Required): 

Experience with Salesforce AI technologies or QA automation tools is a plus.
