Production Support Analyst
Position Description
Candidate will get an opportunity to work with a highly skilled team on the latest technologies. It helps the candidate to shape the career with matured agile project delivery, advanced Tech stack process.
Looking for a Production Operations and Support Engineer to join our team to ensure the smooth
operation of our systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and
be able to collaborate with various stake holders to support and maintain our services and data
integrations including assets in AWS. This role is located in
Bloomfield, CT
.
Future duties and responsibilities
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues for various systems and applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues
• Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to prevent future issues
• Create and maintain documentation related to production issues and resolutions
• Implement and maintain processes and procedures to improve production support
• Provide daily, monthly and yearly reports on system usage, performance and issue
status
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure proper deployment and release of
software and updates
• Understand application code to apply emergency fixes to resolve outages if necessary
• Maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with delivery teams and consuming
application teams
• Evaluate application performance and certify operational readiness for new installations
and updates
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production issues after business hours
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor's Degree with at least 8+ years of experience in Production Support related role:
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Web Services and message formats such as
JSON and XML/SOAP
• Strong technical skills in Java, Python, SQL, Linux and scripting languages
• Good understanding of JVM memory and Garbage collection
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively
• Experience in security concepts such as TLS, SSL certificates, authentication and
authorization mechanisms
• Experience with monitoring and metrics tools such as Splunk and DynaTrace
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to dynamically changing IT demands
