SAP Plant Maintenance IT Consultant - Remote

Job Description: 

As an SAP Plant Maintenance IT Consultant, you will leverage your expertise to support and enhance enterprise applications, particularly those related to SAP Plant Maintenance and other key systems. You will lead and collaborate on projects that focus on highways and facilities, providing technical solutions and ensuring successful delivery. Your role will involve working closely with development teams, troubleshooting, and managing the lifecycle of applications through testing and deployment.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Analyze, design, configure, and deploy enterprise applications and integrations 

Develop detailed technical specifications and quick reference documents 

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SAP Plant Maintenance and related applications 

Perform unit testing and QA testing to ensure system functionality 

Manage and update ServiceNow tickets related to system issues and change requests 

Provide level of effort estimates for new projects and change requests 

Lead projects developed by vendors, offering SAP Plant Maintenance process expertise and oversight 

Facilitate meetings with project team members to ensure alignment and progress 

Create, update, and maintain system documentation for various applications 

Support and collaborate with developers and stakeholders on project deliverables 

 

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: 

5+ years of experience with SAP Plant Maintenance and related applications 

Expertise in SAP Work Manager mobile application, OnBase, Agile Assets, Pontis Bridge Management System, Gasboy Fuel Management System, EKOS Fuel Management System, and custom bridge assessment systems 

Experience with MS Azure DevOps for managing resources and pipelines 

Strong ability to lead, review, analyze, design, configure, test, and deploy IT applications 

Proficient in developing system documentation and providing technical specifications 

Experience managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams 

Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and manage tickets through ServiceNow 

 

 

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $65.00 to $95.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
