Job Requirements / Description
We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer in Austin, TX (Onsite). This position is open only to local candidates based in Texas who are willing to participate in a face-to-face interview at the client's location.
The client is looking for a Senior PHP Developer with a strong well-rounded senior developer who can manage both back-end and front-end development while also taking on leadership responsibilities in a collaborative environment.
Extensive experience in (8+ years ) PHP development , including working with PHP frameworks like Kohana web development framework.
Experience in developing web applications using RESTful APIs to communicate with external services or fetch data as a Kohana developer with RESTful APIs work and how to integrate them into other applications, should be strong in making API requests, handle responses, and work with data formats like JSON and XML.
Knowledge on jQuery , proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .
Experience with AJAX and JSON, understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues, and familiarity with front-end build tools are also important.
Strong knowledge of database systems and query optimization.
Advanced knowledge of PHP performance-tuning techniques.
Knowledge of Git workflows.
At least 3-5+ years of experience working with Kubernetes and Docker , Expertise in Linux . Maintenance of Docker/Container Clusters.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools for deployment.
Familiarity with cloud-based services and serverless architecture
Expertise in implementing security best practices and compliance standards
Experience with microservices architecture and API design
Ability to lead code reviews and enforce coding standards
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities and experience with Agile methodologies
Effective communication and teamwork skills
