Job Requirements / Description
The Workforce Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting data related to workforce development initiatives while also performing light administrative duties. The role will support data-driven decision making to enhance program effectiveness and outcomes, as well as accurately report outcomes to funders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and compile data from various workforce development programs, including participant demographics, attendance, and outcome metrics such as employment and education.
Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights that inform program improvements and strategic planning.
Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
Create detailed dashboards and reports for leadership, stakeholders and external partners
Present data in clear and concise manner, using visual aids to highlight key data points and recommendations
Evaluate effectiveness of workforce programs by analyzing key performance indicators and metrics
Provide recommendations based on data analysis to enhance program design and implementation
Work closely with program leadership, trainers, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and provide support
Collaborate with other areas of HR to streamline data collection processes and improve data management systems
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment and transparency in data reporting
Maintain and organize electronic files, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible
Support preparation of grant proposals and reports by providing data and information
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, public health, healthcare administration or related.
Minimum of two years of experience in data analysis, preferably within healthcare or education
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL or similar
Strong knowledge of data visualization tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
