POSITION SUMMARY
Arrowpoint Corporation, a MorphWorks company, is in search of a proficient and driven Data Integration Developer Intern. As a Data Integration Developer Intern, you will work closely with our data engineering team to support the integration, transformation, and management of diverse datasets. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data integration, analysis, and visualization, and to work with leading-edge technologies while contributing to real-world projects that drive business insights and innovation.
Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Collaborate with team members to understand data integration requirements and objectives
Work with multiple data sources to collect, consolidate, validate, and manage Enterprise IT data using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and Power BI
Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or similar
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration pipelines and workflows
Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity
Support the deployment and monitoring of data integration solutions in production environments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and integration
Document data integration processes, configurations, and best practices
Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Currently pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
Strong understanding of data integration concepts and techniques
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
Familiarity with data formats (e.g., CSV, JSON, XML) and serialization techniques
Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and processes
Knowledge of SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis
Proficiency in database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.
Ability to work with APIs and web services for data extraction and integration
Basic understanding of data modeling and database concepts
Basic understanding of data center operations and cloud computing platforms
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Enthusiasm for learning and exploring new technologies and tools
