Overview:
As the Software Developer, your primary function is to design and develop web-based tools and applications to support Mortgage Connect’s business and objectives. You will work closely with Quality Assurance, Technical Architecture, and other members of development to ensure the success of new products, applications, and new versions of existing products. Additionally, you will work with new technology through all phases of the software development life cycle to produce and enhance scalable and robust software applications.
What you will do
Develop Web-Based Tools/Applications to Support All Phases of Mortgage Connect’s business operations
Translate Application Requirements into Robust Well-Designed Technical Solution
Use Rapid Applications Development Techniques Employing Object-Oriented Design and Development to Produce Solutions
Perform Unit Testing on Software Applications
Debug Software and Fix Defects Uncovered During Testing Process
Work with Application Analysts or Coordinators, Test Engineers and Technical Writers to Ensure Successful Rollout of New Applications/Features
Additional Duties, as assigned
What you will bring
Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Full lifecycle project experience
Academic and/or career related experience with building applications using: C#, XML, ASP.Net, SQL Server
Team Foundation Server
A strong understanding of Object Oriented concepts
Database design and programming (Microsoft SQL Server)
SQL Server Reporting Services is a plus
Logical thinker with ability to develop well structured designs for complex applications
Effective in fast paced environment
Collaborative/enjoys working in teams
Self starter/motivator
Creative and effective problem solving skills
Ability to work on/manage multiple tasks concurrently
