Title: Full stack developer

Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Full Stack Developer with a strong background in working with pharmaceutical clients and interacting with scientists.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coding with C++, Python, and Java, and will support our team working on high-performance computing (HPC) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform specific tasks within the HIVE program to support scientific research and computational projects.
Maintain and enhance the HIVE system, ensuring its reliability and performance.
Work on gene sequencing and genomic projects, applying expertise in computational biology.
Contribute to initiatives involving AI and machine learning to advance scientific research.
Transition and migrate systems to AWS services, including Redshift and S3.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code from scratch in Java, C++, and Python.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including scientists, principal investigators (PI), and developers, to understand and fulfill their requirements.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Required Qualifications:
Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on full stack development.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Java, C++, and Python (with major experience in C++ and Python).
Familiarity with DevOps practices (though this is not a primary focus).
Experience with AWS services, particularly Redshift and S3.
Strong understanding of high-performance computing environments and scientific computing.
Experience with gene sequencing and genomic data analysis.
Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in scientific research.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with scientists, stakeholders, and team members.
