Business Data Analyst-Houston, TX

iSphere.net is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Data Analyst to join our client's team in Houston, TX, as a full-time employee. As a Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding system relationships, evaluating business processes, and assisting in developing and implementing systems solutions for process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize Python for data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and process optimization.

- Anticipate requirements and identify improvement areas in Aftermarket (Spares/Service/Repair) business processes.

- Provide supporting evidence using advanced analytics to guide the business user community.

- Assist in documenting change requirements for future process changes/improvements.

- Report ongoing business issues and provide data-driven insights and reporting using Python.

- Assist senior management in strategic decision-making based on data analysis.

- Drive continuous business process improvements based on immediate and future business needs.

- Apply process innovation to overcome organizational problems and drive efficiency.

- Complete tasks within the Operational Excellence group's work areas using Python for data analysis and process optimization.

- Design and generate reports with metrics to demonstrate efficiency and effectiveness.

- Collaborate with support functions to resolve problems and ensure smooth project execution.

- Contribute to general improvements in the quality and key activities of the department.

- Maintain a high degree of situation awareness and generate insights through data analysis.

- Arrange remote meetings and work groups with business leaders and SMEs.

Required Skills:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a business process-related role, with expertise in consulting, project management, and Python for data analysis and automation.

- Strong conceptual thinking skills and a global mindset.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and process optimization.

- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

- Strong IS skillset in non-Microsoft applications for data analysis, automation, and visualization.

- Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ETL.

- Action-oriented and goal-driven with excellent analytical skills.

- Ability to influence others and build consensus.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
