Responsibilities:
The IT Project Management Office is looking for a Business Process Analyst II to take on a lead role in project execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

Conduct analysis of business information systems using applied knowledge and principals (systems approach) and assists in determining appropriate solution for problems.

Assist in collecting, assembling and analyzing requirements to meet the needs of the project.

Assist with project documentation, the management of project schedule and budget.

May meet with process owner and team members to ensure all requirements are met.

Assist the organizational representative with defining requirements.

May collect, assemble and analyze requirements to meet the needs of the organization.

May assist with project documentation.

May perform data entry and processes request for information through reporting capabilities.

May coordinate or participate in project tasks, such as testing and end-user training.

Assist with communication to all levels of the organization.

Perform other duties other assigned by Management.

Qualifications:
Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.

Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 2 years’ of professional level experience or equivalent training and experience.

Previous project management experience and responsibilities may be helpful.

Collaboration: Facilitates discussion and resolves conflicts.

Achieves customer satisfaction.

Seeks advice from more senior project managers.

Decision-Making: Demonstrates effective decision-making skills, including knowledge of how and when to escalate issues to higher levels. Analyzes the risks and future impact of decisions.

Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Project and PowerBI is helpful.

Understanding of resource management and related tools.

Work will be conducted remotely. Some work at our Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada is required in support of these functions.

Work schedule will be 4/10s Monday through Thursday (subject to change).

Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.

Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, ‘Identity, Credential, and Access Management,’ and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, ‘Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors.’

Annual salary range for this position is: $62,358.40 - $93,537.60.

Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
