Job Requirements / Description
JOB TITLE: Scrum Master
Remote
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
Facilitation of Scrum Master
o Daily Scrum Meetings
o Sprint Planning Meetings
o Sprint Review Meetings
o Sprint Retrospective Meetings
Maintain Team Dynamics o Coach team members (e.g., with one-on-one coaching)
o Mediate through impediments & conflicts
o Identify outstanding project and product decisions impacting team delivery
o Foster the assigned team's self-organization
o Support Team, Project and Organization goals with project leaders and product owner(s)
o Provide feedback to the team
o Encourage the use of Agile Practices within the development teams
Help in product related activities
o Help teams and vendors with the release planning
o Be familiar with the team (i.e., the product)
Supporting the big picture
o Bring people together who should meet and support each other
o Keep in touch with every stakeholder regularly
o Help the team report to management
o Help to further the Agile community within the organization
o Be a contact person for everyone on the team and their stakeholders regarding Agile
o Provide learning opportunities to people in the organization (e.g., talks or workshops) and letting them learn important Agile concepts (e.g., technical debt)
o Facilitate change
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
Five (5) years minimum experience working in the Scrum Master role
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
Familiarity with JIRA
Agile development (Scrum Methodology)
