SAP Basis Technical Solutions Consultant
REMOTE
4+ month contract.
The Basis Technical/Disconnected Solution role applies senior level expertise/capabilities to deliver hands on technical work on SAP Defense and Security (D&S) demo systems, networking, and containerization to provide multiple remote (disconnected operations) SAP S/4HANA systems access to central (HQ) SAP S/4HANA systems.
Performs independent high-level design of enterprise application systems. Establishes the basic structure of the system, defines essential core design features and elements that provide the framework. Works closely with systems users in the identification and resolution of user problems and concerns for complex projects. Performs cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components. Generates a set of acceptance test requirements for complex systems, together with the designers, test engineers, and the user to determine that all of the high-level requirements have been met, especially for the computer-human-interface. May participate in business development activities. May be assigned responsibility for the management of the function, including associated staff.
Required Skills
10+ years of SAP Basis and 2-5yr S/4HANA Basis implementation and post-production support experience,
Experience with installation and configuring S/4HANA and Disconnected solutions in AWS Gov Cloud and on premise,
Experienced with US Navy Containerization and deployment of applications utilizing containerization,
Plans and leads major technology assignments,
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success,
Knowledgeable with DoD Impact Level Security requirements,
Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
Federal experience required (DoD experience preferred)
DoD clearance required (must be clearable)
CompTIA Security+ Certification

Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, engineering, or other relevant discipline. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor s degree.
Primary Job Duties
Install/troubleshoot, configuring S/4HANA and Disconnected solutions in AWS Gov Cloud and on premise, (20%)
Provide expertise in containerization of SAP S/4HANA disconnected solutions utilizing Navy s current tools for containerization (30%)
Develop and maintain systems documentation for S/4HANA and containerization (20%)
Prepare/conduct briefings, demos or training sessions as needed. (10%)
