Title: Full Stack .Net Developer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: Contract
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
Design and contribute to development of next-generation central traffic management software, incorporating customer requirements and industry standards
Collaborate with Product Owner, Architects, and development team to design and implement backend microservices and frontend interfaces
Contribute to product success and excel with a dynamic team in a highly collaborative environment
Ensure code quality by participating in code reviews and implementing
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a comparable science, technology, or engineering background
Proficient in C# and DotNet
Microservice development using ASP.NET Core
State persistence using SQL (e.g. MSSQL)
Experience with virtual computing
REST API Implementation and usage
Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)
Frontend development experience with HTML 5 and CSS
React and JavaScript/TypeScript experience incl. package managers like yarn or npm
Experience evaluating new technology with Proof of Concepts
Dedication to software quality
Experience writing automated unit tests (e.g. NUnit, xUnit)
Knowledge of software patterns
Outstanding analytical, problem solving, planning, and abstract thinking skills
Strong attention to detail, proactively driving assignments and tracking tasks
Creative thinking and innovation skills to define new approaches to issues
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
Experience with message-based / event-based communication via message bus (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS, ...)
Experience with Docker, Helm. and Kubernetes
Experience using static code analysis tools (e.g. SonarQube)
