Network Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist
Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others;able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; mayhave extensive industry experience.
Description (including, but not limited to):
1. Design and maintenance of both the hardware and software necessary for acomputer network
2. Specialization in Local Area Networks (LANs)/Wide Area Networks (WANs),TCP/IP, virtual machines, and/or server/network infrastructure
3. Responsibility for installation, configuration and administration of wired andwireless network switches, access points, server farm and network-based storagenetworking components.
4. Responsibility for installation of cable, wiring and related equipment for telephonyand data interfaces and systems with communications functions.
5. Execution of disaster recovery / business continuity processes and procedures.
6. Responsibility for performance tuning, capacity planning, and fault managementfor all network and network-related components.
Required Skills:
Experience in network design andconfiguration including experienceis WAN Layer 2 and Layer 3
Experience in VMWare virtualSAN and VMware vSphere
Experience is site-to-site securityand in-depth knowledge of VPNand IPSec
Experience in troubleshooting acomplex data center
Experience designing failover datacenter Disaster Recoverysites
Knowledge and experience withnetwork concepts includingfirewalls, VPN and wirelessnetworks
Experience with managing ACI switches
Experience with F5 load balancer,configuration and troubleshooting
Experience with data center, UCS and storage in data centerenvironments
Experience with solutions architecture in data centerproducts and solutions
Experience with solutions architecture using Cisco Nexus/9K and Meraki switches
Experience with Cisco FS or Citrixload balancers and WANoptimization solutions from Ciscoor Riverbed
Experience with test tool configuration and operation usingSpirent Test Center or similarproduct
Experience with IT architecturedesign and documents
Extensive experience with F5Load Balancer implementation,configuration of DNS and VPNincluding Multifactorauthentication
