Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Hanover, Maryland. The position is part of a team that provides development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing, maintaining, and enhancing software systems
Working individually or as part of a team
Reviewing and testing software components
Resolving software problem reports
Utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 20 years of experience or 24 years of total experience
Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Debug existing software and correct defects
Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
Write or review software and system documentation
Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
Write or review software and system documentation
Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met
Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Select the software development process in coordination with the customer and system engineering
Recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projects
Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $(phone number removed)-$(phone number removed). There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
