Role: WINDOWS FILESYSTEM & UEFI BIOS QA ENGINEER
Location: Spring, TX
Who are we looking for?
Windows Filesystem & UEFI BIOS QA Engineer: 5+ years of experience
Technical Skills:
Person should have at least 5+ years of experience in system level testing on Windows Filesystems, Drivers, Applications, UEFI BIOS, NVMe SSD.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive test strategies for Windows Filesystems, Drivers, Applications, UEFI BIOS and NVMe SSD.
Design, develop and execute testcases and test scripts to validate the functionality and integrations of Windows Filesystems, Drivers, Applications, UEFI BIOS, NVMe SSD and edge cases.
Analyze test results to identify defects, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
Provide feedback to development teams and stakeholders to help improve the quality of the Windows Filesystems, Drivers, Applications, UEFI BIOS and NVMe SSD.
Identify defects and issues on Windows Filesystems, Drivers, Applications, UEFI BIOS, NVMe SSD and document them in a structured manner for resolution.
Perform various upgrade, downgrade, rewrite and recover scenarios with Windows Drivers, Applications and UEFI BIOS.
Analyze results to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and repeatability of tests. Implement best practices for maintaining data integrity and consistency.
Document the test setup and execution process, methodologies, and results. Create clear and concise reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and customers.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies on Windows Filesystem, UEFI BIOS, NVMe SSD and related tools.
Must have skills:
Proven experience with design and implementation of test plans
Proven experience and strong understanding of UEFI BIOS and architecture.
3+ years of experience using Photon programming language
Strong understanding of Windows Filesystems and NVMe SSD.
Familiarity with Robot Framework test automation framework
Strong understanding of computer architecture, microprocessors, memory systems, storage technologies, and networking.
Experience with Automation script development and testing.
OS (Windows), BIOS, Firmware and Driver installation and configuration
Developing and maintaining test design documents and interface specifications
Ability to work in Agile / Scrum teams.
Qualification:
Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
