Full Stack Engineer
We are looking for engineers that share our common interest in distributed backend systems, their scalability, and continued development. You will closely collaborate with our internal customers to create and evolve tools to meet their needs. You will lead a product that has an end to end stack which powers our applications and underlying platform, scale highly distributed systems, and continuously improve our engineering practices.
Responsibilites:
Be a technical leader within the team you work with and within the client in general
Coordinate technical projects across teams within the client
Facilitate collaboration with other engineers to solve interesting and challenging problems
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to determine how to scalably design backend systems and APIs to meet their needs
Architect, develop, and operate services deployed to millions of users
Work with front-end, back-end and data engineers to scale a full stack architecture powering our Pacman Platform
While the role primarily caters to our Pacman/Editorial tooling product area
Be a technical leader and valued contributor in an autonomous, cross-functional agile team
Collaborate with other leadership, engineers, product owners, and designers to solve challenging problems, creating awesome music sessions for users worldwide
Qualifications:
You have experience working directly with stakeholders and Product leadership to understand, document and develop APIs and systems to meet their requirements, driving increased adoption and reducing reliance on custom one-off implementations
Work with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to create and evolve tools for the Pacman Platform as well as for content vertical editors who power a lot of the human intelligence in the client experience
You are a visionary leader who has previously strategized, led and executed company-wide technical projects
You are a technical leader who knows how to translate product and business concepts into tech and can drive large scale efforts across the client
You love working in an environment where you constantly experiment and iterate quickly.
You believe data is the most powerful tool for informed decision-making
You have a deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
You care about quality and have experience with engineering best practices and testing automation to build quality into software and systems
Technical Skills: Java, React, GraphQL
