About the Role:

Are you passionate about technology and eager to support cutting-edge projects? We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA, or at a Northern VA Government customer site. In this role, you will support a program dedicated to developing and integrating automated intelligence and machine learning capabilities. You will be part of a project team responsible for designing and maintaining multiple DevOps pipelines, integrating and deploying numerous components into a larger system infrastructure. Deployment will span across multiple networks into hybrid architectures, including both local and cloud infrastructures. Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain multiple DevOps pipelines.

Implement Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) solutions to support rapid development and integration.

Integrate static code analysis and other security mechanisms into the pipeline.

Design and apply hybrid deployment strategies (cloud and local virtualized).

Collaborate with software and system engineers to apply automated test and documentation processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve network, automation pipeline, and infrastructure issues.

Build, maintain, and monitor configuration management of release products.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Experience with cloud application deployment and maintenance.

Kubernetes experience.

Basic Linux system administration experience (RedHat and/or CentOS).

Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, web services, and SQL databases.

Willingness to work onsite in Herndon, VA, or at Government customer sites in Northern Virginia.

Additional Skills We'd Like to See:

Master's degree with 6 years of related experience or Ph.D. with 3 years of related experience.

Security+ or comparable certification for privileged user access.

Experience with distributed processing methods and tools, such as REST APIs, microservices, IaaS/PaaS services.

Experience developing and deploying web services.

Experience supporting software in a production environment.

Experience with building and maintaining software in a cloud environment.

Experience with automated deployment technologies such as CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Experience with AWS Cloud operations and maintenance.
