We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As an IT Support Engineer at Amivision, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional technical support to our employees. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network resources, and maintaining our systems' reliability and security.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of IT-related issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems on Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.

Set up and configure new workstations, laptops, and peripherals for new employees and office equipment.

Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other internal systems.

Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Collaborate with the IT team to implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.

Assist in the deployment and management of software applications and updates.

Document technical procedures, solutions, and best practices to improve support efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position.

Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and networking fundamentals.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

You must hold relevant work permits for the country you apply in (Belgium or US).
