Responsibilities:
Project Responsibilities:

Identify Opportunities: Collaborate with Business Development to grow the federal IT pipeline.

Lead Capture Efforts: Develop strategies for capturing contracts over $50 million.

Manage Teams: Lead cross-functional teams in pursuit of capture goals.

Build Relationships: Maintain strong connections with federal agencies to influence requirements.

Oversee Proposals: Ensure proposals align with customer needs throughout the capture process.

Manage Budget: Oversee capture budgets and resource allocation.

Engage Stakeholders: Keep leadership informed and escalate issues as needed.

Drive Improvement: Implement process enhancements and best practices using tools like Salesforce.

Position Responsibilities: 

Lead Pursuit Teams: Manage cross-functional teams and internal resource support for capture efforts.

Scrum Master Role: Set objectives and manage task backlogs to ensure timely completion.

Oversee Capture Strategy: Manage customer requirements, teaming strategies, and capture budgets.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain communication with stakeholders and develop customer relationship strategies.

Lead Major Captures: Drive efforts for contracts valued at $50M+, ensuring deadlines and resource alignment.

Train and Mentor: Support the Capture Team by providing training and upholding REI’s capture methodology.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

5–8 years of IT Federal civilian government contracting experience, particularly with agencies like the Department of Treasury, Department of Commerce, USPTO, IRS, FDIC, Census, DoD, DHS etc.

8 years of experience as a Capture Manager.

Proven success in capturing Federal civilian market opportunities valued at over $50 million.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Team leadership and project management experience.

Deep relationships within the Federal government and contracting community.

Experience in organizational process improvement and process design.

Proficiency in Salesforce CRM systems and MS Office suite.

Knowledge of Agile business process management and improvement strategies.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another technical related field.

 

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance is preferred.

 

Location: Hybrid (One day per week or as needed in the REI Sterling Office).
