Product Owner/UI/UX: NC

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Define and prioritize the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities, maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team

Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business priorities.

Lead the planning of product release plans / PI planning, Sprint Planning and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities

Provide an active role in mitigating dependencies of team which help successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals

Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

Be accountable for adhering to enterprise standards for documentation in our software delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in the security or banking domain

Strong understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

UI/UX requirements gathering

Demonstrated ability in writing user stories and managing backlogs

Able to communicate with both business and technology partners effectively

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box

Experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum

Technical proficiency in using JIRA or other agile project management tools

Desired skills:

SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification 

Pay Range: $61.18 - $69.18
