The client is looking for a Data Analyst specializing in Supply Chain operations to work onsite in San Jose, CA.

Summary:

The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of technical expertise in data analysis and modeling, communication skills for working with stakeholders, and supply chain domain knowledge. They should be able to translate complex data into actionable insights to support decision-making in various aspects of supply chain operations.

Here are the key qualifications and responsibilities they are seeking:

Responsibilities:

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage with supply chain business stakeholders to identify opportunities for using data to inform and improve business solutions.

Analytical Support: Provide analytical insights and support for various areas of Supply Chain Operations, such as Procurement, Planning, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Logistics, with a focus on Data Center Deployments.

Data Assessment: Evaluate the completeness and accuracy of new data sources and data processing methods.

Business Requirement Analysis: Gather requirements from the business and identify the best reporting platforms for efficiency and effectiveness.

Data Visualization and Reporting: Design and create metrics, reports, dashboards, and analyses to support key business decisions in the supply chain domain.

Data Analysis and Modeling: Perform large-scale data analysis and modeling to derive actionable insights and inform business strategies.

Dashboard Optimization: Build and improve dashboards for a better user experience and business impact evaluation.

Model and Data Monitoring: Create processes to monitor and analyze the performance of data models and ensure data accuracy.

Automation: Identify and automate manual processes to enhance efficiency.

KPI Reporting: Provide periodic KPI and metrics reports to stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Work with the team to conduct root cause analysis, recommend improvements, and resolve escalations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst role or a similar position.

At least 1 year of experience with SQL for data analysis and querying.

Skills:

Strong communication skills for both oral and written interactions, including stakeholder management.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from complex data.

Experience in creating and managing data architectures.

Self-motivation and ability to work independently in unstructured environments with minimal supervision.

Technical Abilities:

Ability to analyze large data sets and transform them into actionable business decisions.

Experience in data modeling and developing user-friendly dashboards to present findings.
