" Job Title: Systems Analyst Specialist
" Preferred bill rate: ensure that skillset matches bill rate prior to submission. Do not submit junior candidates at senior rate
" Length of assignment: 1 year
" How many positions: 1
" What is the preferred candidate location (local, non-local, remote?) and is there flexibility? If remote possibility, indicate schedule. Will follow hybrid schedule, no 100% remote. 1 week onsite and 1 week remote.
" Will you consider candidates who will re-locate at their own expense? No
System Analyst
Qualifications:
" Experience: Minimum of 5 years as systems analyst in Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Data Science projects.
" SQL Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of work experience in SQL, with expertise in crafting complex SQL queries
" Datamart Design: A minimum of 5 years of experience designing DataMart s, with a focus on Dimensional Modeling.
" Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document projects and processes effectively.
" Independence: Ability to work independently and implement solutions with minimal guidance.
" Power BI: At least 3 years of experience in the design and development of Power BI dashboards.
" Power Apps: Experience in Power Apps is also advantageous.
Responsibilities:
The Systems Analyst will:
" Operate independently on the most complex projects at the highest technical level of all phases of application systems analysis activities.
" Formulate or define system scope and objectives based on user needs.
" Develop or refine procedures to address complex challenges, taking into account the limitations and capabilities of IT systems, operational timeframes, and the desired outcomes.
" Work with multiple business units, in multi-platform environments, on multi-project assignments.
" Guide and advise less experienced Systems Analysts.
Job Duties:
" Assist in the planning, design, development of new analytical and data science applications, as well as enhancements to existing applications.
" Meet with decision-makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
" Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
" Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
" Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
" Create and deliver effective presentations to all levels of colleagues and peer groups.
" Document standards and procedures for various analytic platforms.
" Develop test cases and validate test results.
" Coaches and transfers knowledge to less experienced team members.
" Proficiently performs assignments having the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience needed to carry out all aspects of the job
" Exercises independent judgment and decision-making in planning, organizing and conducting work assignments.
