Job Requirements / Description
Position: Quality Assurance Analyst/Software Tester
Location: Montgomery, AL (Onsite from day 1)
Duration: 6+ month contract
Responsibilities
Design, execute, and debug test plans for software applications based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Review project requirements and develop appropriate test cases to ensure all requirements are met and yield the expected results.
Detect and identify web-based configuration/workflow failures to ensure issues are discovered, documented, corrected, and retested.
Evaluate software usability and error handling procedures.
Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
Document test results and generate historical analysis of applications’ capabilities and functionality.
Document configuration anomalies and defects in an issue tracking database.
Participate in application planning/design meetings.
Provide application instructions for users.
Skills Required

Interpret process diagrams (Business Process Workflow diagrams)
Proficient in Microsoft software, service desk ticket management, and communication tools

Microsoft Windows PC and web browser testing environment
