This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced PowerBI Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft’s Power BI platform as well as other BI solutions popular in the market to help the business make data-driven decisions.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence, with expertise in using Power BI or other data visualization tools to design and develop insightful dashboards and reports that drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key business metrics and insights.

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and design effective data visualizations.

Connect Power BI to various data sources such as SQL databases, Excel, and APIs.

Transform raw data into meaningful insights by cleaning, transforming, and modelling data using Power Query and DAX.

Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to design and implement data models and data integration solutions to support reporting requirements.

Optimize and streamline existing Power BI reports and dashboards for improved performance and usability.

Provide support to business users on how to use Power BI to access, analyse, and visualize data.

Stay current with Power BI and/or other BI tools features, updates, and best practices, and recommend enhancements to improve reporting capabilities.

Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support broader business intelligence and analytics objectives.

Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for Power BI solutions as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.

Experience in JIRA, Salesforce, Project Management software a plus.

Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.

Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.

Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and SQL databases.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Power BI certification is a plus.
