Overview:
The Donor Database Specialist supports the department’s mission through gift processing, data management and donor acknowledgement. The incumbent will be responsible for entering all gifts, creating acknowledgements, entering and updating donor records, providing regular updates, and communicating with donors
Responsibilities:
1. Receive, sort, and process gifts according to departmental procedures.
2. Perform data imports of gifts and registrations made through online platforms.
3. Produce gift acknowledgments following departmental procedures. Work with department staff to ensure gifts are acknowledged on time and by the appropriate individuals.
4. Oversee monthly donor management, including developing and maintaining on-going correspondence with donors.
5. Maintain a digital inventory of gift batches and reports for Philanthropy, Finance, and various departments. Serve as a liaison between Philanthropy and Finance.
6. Provide donors with regular updates (e.g., annual statements and tribute reports) as requested.
7. Create and update existing departmental policies and procedures related to gift entry and acknowledgement.
8. Support the Director, Donor Services in maintaining the integrity of the data found in the donor database. This will include creating new records, updating existing records, ensuring accuracy, cleaning the data, and performing regular audits.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 3-5 years of development/fundraising experience required.
• Experience with Raiser’s Edger strongly preferred.
Minimum pay range:
USD $48,925.76/Yr.
Maximum pay range:
USD $83,900.75/Yr.
