Talent Space is conducting an executive search on behalf of our Global Retail client for a fulltime Sr. Manager- Strategic IT Sourcing. Role will focus on the IT sourcing/provurement needs for their Real Estate/Property Development Teams.

This Team focuses on optimizing its purchasing decisions by analyzing indirect purchases and developing procurement strategies to reduce costs, improve quality, and strengthen supplier relationships. They look for ways to enhance value by selecting the best suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and implementing best practices to ensure long-term sustainability and efficiency.

As a Senior Manager of IT Strategic Sourcing, you will be responsible for developing strong and effective business partner relationships and providing strategic sourcing support to a subset of the Client's Technology business unit. Reporting to the Director of IT Strategic Sourcing, you will leverage your experience to deliver significant value to key stakeholders by managing the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for IT Services (your primary spend subcategory) and to lead stretch projects in other IT spend subcategories such as Infrastructure including Network, Telecom, and Cybersecurity; or Core Applications including Data and Analytics.

Leads/drives/manages both simple and complex, enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations for a wide range of software and SaaS solutions while work closely with stakeholders from across the organization, including technology, information security, privacy, finance, and business teams, to craft and execute contracts that meet their unique needs.

Drive cost savings and cost avoidance by proactively identifying new opportunities within supplier engagements including new purchases and renewals to reduce cost (e.g. enterprise discount programs, long-term contracts, commit to consume models)

Identify, rationalize and optimize opportunities within the realm of Enterprise Software and SaaS infrastructure; leverage your knowledge and skills, help streamline processes, maximize efficiency, and ensure compliance

Ability to articulate, negotiate and/or consult on supplier engagements with suppliers and internal stakeholders Partner with cross functional partners to execute on robust 360* launch strategies

Ability to work in an office environment twice a week

Ability to travel if required (once or twice a year)

We're Excited About You If You Have

Recent strategic sourcing experience, with emphasis on technology products and services including software, hardware and SaaS commodities in a multi-national retail corporation

Deep understanding of software trends, commercial models, and industry-specific terminology; proven track record of leading complex sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations

Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and colleagues globally; experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff members is a plus

Strong project management and organizational skills

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field is required; MBA or advanced degree from an accredited college/university preferred

Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification preferred
