Salary Range: $110K-$120K/Annum

Job Description:

Spearhead the remediation and migration of legacy .NET applications, especially those built with Visual Basic, from older data centers to modern cloud-based environments using VMware solutions.

Plan, execute, and manage the end-to-end migration process, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal downtime and adherence to predetermined timelines and budget constraints.

Should have Deep Technical Proficiency in .NET and Visual Basic.

Conduct thorough assessments of existing application portfolios to identify issues like code decay, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks in VB.NET applications.

Redesign and refactor critical software components using advanced programming techniques in .NET and Visual Basic to enhance scalability, maintainability, and performance post-migration. VMware and Virtualization Management:

Design and oversee the implementation of VMware virtual environments to facilitate efficient application testing and deployment during and after the migration process.

Optimize virtualization strategies by configuring VMware tools such as vSphere and vCenter to improve resource allocation and operational efficiency in new data center setups.
