Corcentric, a leading provider of cloud-based finance and procurement solutions, seeks an Intern on the Managed Services team, to support business process analysis, reporting, and innovation.

This role is based in our Cherry Hill, NJ office, but may be eligible for voluntary work-from-home consideration. To be considered for this position, you should live within a commutable distance to our Cherry Hill, NJ office location, and be available to work about 30-40 hours/week, Monday - Friday.

As a Business Process Analyst Intern, you will work with our Source-to-Pay (S2P) Technology Enabled Managed Services team, supporting customer’s accounts payable and procurement processes, delivered through the Corcentric Platform technology solutions. You will collaborate with our Business Process Management function to facilitate procurement processes, supplier onboarding, invoice processing and payments administration, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation enablement.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Organization

Download & organize files into shared folder, running scripts to separate errored transactions, and researching indexing issues to determine root causes

Assist in investigations by examining timing, file size, and error occurrence similarities

Download and organize client invoice interface responses, monthly error files, payloads, and logs for monthly audits.

Organize, administer, and track ERP data updates

Data Integrity Optimization:

Add trackable labels to Jira tickets.

Review data in Corcentric Platform for inconsistencies, ensuring all utility accounts have the required data and rules.

Review current report subscriptions, remove subscriptions for former employees, and update report subscription mailing lists.

Process Documentation & Continuous Improvement:

Organize troubleshooting guides for common Business Process Management issues by identifying recurring errors, collecting screenshots for tutorials

Watch training videos on upcoming product features, document steps, and add test scripts into tracked Smartsheet.

Create a list of current automations and potential automation opportunities.

Review files from upcoming testing automation to ensure the process is understandable for the Managed Services Program

Review current JIRA tickets for Business Process Managers to ensure basic information is covered.

Project Coordination Support:

Help manage outstanding deliverable timelines, track progress, and assist in preparing status reports and updating dashboards.

Schedule meetings and add deliverable reminders to the calendar.

 

 System Updates and Reporting

Process updates in the Corcentric Platform (CP), including: load new locations, Load/change/replace approval and assignment rules.

Review CP system logs to identify major processing errors.

Combine and collect data to report trends and monitor daily invoice jobs.

Update monthly client accrual reports and audit reports.

Provide ticket updates and documentation support in JIRA

Monitor JIRA support tickets to ensure no responses are missed.

Close tickets or update their status, priority, etc.

Requirements

Pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.

Strong research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communications skills to effectively document processes and clearly express complex ideas.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to identify errors, manipulate and analyze datasets

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Interest in automation and process improvement, forward-thinking with a drive to innovate

Ability to exhibit composure, patience and confidence when facing challenges

 

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with command prompt or basic scripting, process automation tools and workflow optimization techniques

Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and software platforms

Knowledge or familiarity with systems implementation, integration and troubleshooting
