Job Description
TCS is looking to hire an SAP RTR Engagement Director for the Global Consulting Practice. The role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of complex and large transformation engagements at TCS clients. They will be required to coordinate the work of TCS and client team members for one or more projects and will be accountable for the successful delivery of all phases, releases, and project components for transformation projects. The role will be responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule and budget for the project. It will be expected that the candidate demonstrates end-to-end business process knowledge in Record to Report processes.
*Responsibilities:
This position is accountable to ensure high quality solution designs that meet current and anticipated business needs. Responsibilities also include evaluating alternatives to satisfy business objectives, estimating and planning SAP Record to Report (RTR) projects and cross-project process and design governance.
Lead business requirements workshops with customer to design and roll out S/4 HANA solution for Finance & Controlling area
Design global template based on the best practices
Prepare blueprints, gap analysis, end-to-end process design, testing strategy, cutover plans, training, etc.
Provide leadership in planning/sequencing of end-to-end design workshops and support facilitation of workshops, leveraging knowledge of industry best practices and application of global SAP implementation experience.
Guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions and validate fit/gap analysis and design decisions completed by less experienced team members; ensure deviations from "out of the box” functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition
Own overall inventory of reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and/or workflow (RICEFW)
Actively participate as a member of the delivery team in providing and ensuring optimal design solutions are understood and adopted
Provide strong functional understanding of S4HANA
Understand the evolving SAP roadmap for S/4 HANA and provided advise to customers in S/4 HANA adoption
Oversee various transformational projects, implementing business process improvements, or implementing ERP systems for our clients
Coordinate project timeline with her/his teams to ensure checkpoints and goals are met to the client's satisfaction
Collaborate with the project manager(s) in the management of overall resource allocation and capacity planning for the project(s)
Manage program level status, metrics, issues and risks and oversee overall completion and sign-off on program deliverables
Leverage his/her broad business and technical expertise to address technology architecture, blueprinting, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement
Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and client leadership teams assigned to the projects
Lead/Collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals
Qualifications:
Demonstrates end-to-end business process knowledge in Record to Report (RTR) processes.
PS experience with integration experience in MM, FA & PM. Prior Utilities, manufacturing, or aerospace industry implementation experience
Experience leading large global, consulting led RTR business transformation program delivery with proven track record and a deep understanding of business values of transformation programs and objectives
Ability to speak business language, guide business counterparts towards the right SAP solution, and translate business requirements into technical requirements
Expert level knowledge in SAP FI CO modules covering SAP Financial General Ledger, Intercompany Accounting, Account Receivable, Account Payable, Asset Accounting, Material Ledger, Manufacturing Variance and integration with Supply Chain and Order to Cash functionality and processes.
Expert level knowledge in SAP Controlling including Product Costing, CO-PCA, CO-CCA, COPA and integration with materials management.
At least five(5) full life cycle implementations as an ERP Project Manager with multi-module implementations
A minimum of ten (10) years prior transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience
At least six (6) years' experience in proposal and business case development
Proven sales experience
Working knowledge of configuration and features of key S/4 HANA based Finance structures is an absolute requirement.
The ability to be hands-on and mentor junior team members.
Able to provide accurate estimates, timeline, and ability to self-direct and manage teams and client
Understand and have knowledge to integrate with BPC, SD, MM
Must have Finance & Accounting background with expertise
Should be proficient in conversation on wide ranging Finance and Accounting topics with Finance Controllers, users, senior management, and C-level leaders
Should have working experience in project estimation, project planning, and staffing
Must be capable of functioning with only limited oversight. Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively internally and externally
Experience managing 20+ resources
Willingness to travel up to 100%
