Job description:

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement recommendation system using collaborative filtering, clustering strategies, and advanced methodologies, including Generative AI.

Apply strong problem-solving skills to machine learning challenges.

Utilize Databricks on cloud (Azure/Google/AWS) for data processing and analytics.

Manipulate and analyze large data sets using statistical computer languages (Python, SQL, etc.).

Design and develop data architectures to support data-driven decision-making.

Implement a variety of machine learning techniques (decision trees, artificial neural networks, Gen AI, etc.) and assess their real-world advantages and drawbacks.

Apply advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, distribution properties, statistical tests, etc.) and leverage them in practical applications.

Communicate findings and insights effectively across teams through excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Continuously learn and master new technologies and techniques to stay ahead in the field.

Required Skills:

5-7 years of experience in data manipulation and statistical model building.

Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.

Proven experience with statistical and data mining techniques, including GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.

Expertise in advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical methods, including regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.

Databricks

Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, and Spark

Proficiency in visualizing/presenting data using tools: PowerBI, Tableau, Business Objects, D3, ggplot, Flask, Django etc.

Experience working with healthcare data
