Overview:
Summary Statement:

The Jr. Automation Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive technical configuration and management of the automation platform at Resorts World Las Vegas. This platform encompasses a Virtual Assistant (VA), business and IT autonomics, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The Automation Engineer will lead the design, execution, and strategic direction of the resort’s automation initiatives.

Job Duties:
Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

Knowledge and experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes.

Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.

Ability to design robust semantic models and dashboards.

Develops and configures automation processes.

Identifies improvements and/or opportunities to automate business and IT processes.

Working knowledge of programming techniques

Working knowledge of database design, SQL, and relational databases

Technical knowledge and familiarity with cloud-based business intelligence and automation platforms

Technical knowledge in relevant middleware and API’s

Have experience building RPA processes and PowerShell scripting.

Provide technical guidance to offshore development team and help track status.

Gather technical requirements from different teams.

Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.

Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.

Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills to be an effective team member.

Polished appearance and demeanor.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

Preferred: 

 

Previous experience in hospitality systems and analytics.

Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education and Experience:

 

At least 21 years of age.

Bachelor’s degree in IT related subjects.

Minimum of four to six years of hands-on development and coding experience.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Ability to obtain the following:Nevada Gaming Registration
