Automation Engineer (Mid Level)

Primary Talent Partners has 2 mid-level automation engineer positions available with our large life science client in the Marlborough, MA area. These are full-time W2 contract positions initially running through the end of the calendar year with the potential for extension and/or conversion. No C2C candidates will be considered for these positions.

Pay Range: $80/hr - $85/hr, no benefits or PTO included

Schedule: M - F, normal business hours, fully on-site

Tasks and Deliverables:

- Generate project documentation for requirements and testing

- Perform engineering tests and test protocol shakedown

- Perform formal verification testing

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to test failures and generate potential solutions

Required experience:

-5 years of relevant work experience

-Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, or related STEM major

- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word

- Able to manipulate data using Excel

- Basic knowledge of networks and remote connectivity

- Ability to follow detailed test protocols using good documentation practices (GDP)

- Ability to work independently

Preferred experience:

- Rockwell PLC/DCS systems, Logix 5000, FT View, PlantPAx

- GAMP 5 (V-Model) documentation

- Verification test planning and execution

- Cross-functional teamwork, coordination, and communication skills
