DevOps Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Support quality engineering function and responsible for internal cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) development covering UAT and PROD validation requirements

Perform technical requirements and use case analysis for testing and test automation development objectives

Develop new and execute existing IaC test code, evaluates results against acceptance criteria, creates/maintain bugs discovered

Requirements:

Expertise working in a CI/CD pipeline-controlled environment leveraging a standard IDE (MSVS), and required tools/apps that facilitate the pipeline (Bitbucket, Jenkins, XLRelease, JIRA)

Versed in server operating systems and configurations (Windows and Linux), infrastructure hosting components, and cloud virtualization technology for Infrastructure as a Service enablement

Experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, Perl, Go, and shell scripting

Experience in Hashicorp Terraform / Vault

Experience in Windows OS and Office Productivity Suite of applications

Desired skills:

Strong prioritization, problem solving skills

Comfortable speaking out in a team or project setting

Working knowledge of industry standard test management and test automation tools, and related test automation enablers

Motivated outside the box thinker who doesn't settle for the obvious

Curious, analytical thinker

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
