Title: BI Technical Lead
Client: State of Wisconsin – DOT
Duration: Until 6/30/2025 with possible extension
Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. 100% remote in the State of Wisconsin.
Job Description:
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
10+ years of experience relational databases, and Structured Query Language (SQL).
10+ years of experience documenting and understanding complex business and data relationships, through Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs).
Demonstrated communication experience, working with business and technical teams.
5+ years of experience developing and understanding ETL for data transformation.
Nice to Have Skills:
Familiarity with Tableau.
Familiarity with Business Objects.
Tech Writing, with an emphasis on communicating between the business and technical needs of a cross functional project team.
Experience using data modeling tools (ex: ERwin) and understanding Entity Relationship Diagrams, ERDs, and data modeling
MS SQL Server
Oracle
The most qualified candidate will also demonstrate experience in one or more of the following areas:
Demonstrated Experience with Tableau
Demonstrated experience with Business Objects
IBM DB2 experience
In depth experience creating and maintaining ERD's in the ERWIN tool.
