THIS IS A SENIOR DATA SCIENCE ENGINEER ROLE. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH 10 YEARS OF OVERALL TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE AND AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF DATA SCIENCE EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of data science solutions, including data collection, preprocessing, feature engineering, modeling, and performance evaluation.
Collaborate with data scientists to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data engineering tasks.
Develop and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing, transformation, and storage, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline.
Implement machine learning algorithms and models for various use cases, such as predictive analytics, classification, clustering, recommendation systems, and more.
Leverage cloud-based technologies and platforms to scale data processing and model deployment, considering factors like performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) in data engineering, data science, and machine learning, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Solid oral and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods
Strong proficiency in programming languages for data analysis such as Python, R, or Tableau
Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS or Google
Knowledge of relational databases such as My SQL and BigQuery.
