Summary:
We are seeking a Network Administrator to support the DHS FLETC program in Glynco, GA. In this role you will join a technically diverse team to include, but not limited to Help Desk Specialists, Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Database Professionals. Together, this team provides IT Operations and Support to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) which is responsible for training law enforcement professionals from over 90 different agencies.
Responsibilities:
Perform engineering, design, implementation, and maintenance tasks on the networking environment.
Assist with peer reviews on networking maintenances, projects, and initiatives.
Identify, review, and recommend security postures to peers and appropriate security teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems.
Install hardware such as: routers, firewalls, wireless, and switches.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working with computer networking technologies
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
Ideal candidates will possess an associate's or bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Information Technology - Network Administration
Network+ and/or CCNA - preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
Must be able to pass the Federal Law Enforcement Background Investigation
Salary Disclosure:
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.
The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
