Role Description: Compliance Data Analyst I

 

The Compliance Data Analyst I will report to the GRC Senior Compliance Associate, and assist with ongoing data remediation, data quality checks, license verification from respective state boards to ensure federal, state and EU disclosure reports are reported timely and accurately on behalf of OAPI and OPDC.

 

Key job responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

-             Support the successful collection, aggregation, correction, and delivery of timely and accurate spend transparency reports for federal, state and EU disclosure requirements - independently and accurately review, format, clean complex data, identify and investigate data anomalies, work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality errors;

-             Assist with use of current systems and tools to ensure accurate data collection and reporting, review error and alert reports and make updates, if needed;

-             Verify licenses with respective state boards and ensure compliance with state-specific regulations

-             Develop or update processes- identify process gaps and recommend improvements, create and maintain work practices for new and existing transparency processes;

-             Assist in the preparation and submission of state transparency reports and EFPIA data disclosure reports

-             Assist with quality checks and remediation associated with Sunshine Act reporting

 

Preferred Education/Skills Requirement:

 

              -             Minimum 3 years of experience with data analysis in prior roles required

-             Bachelor’s degree is required

-             Familiarity with EFPIA data disclosure requirements

-             Familiarity with State disclosure requirements

-             Familiarity with the Open Payments (Sunshine) Act

-             Comfortable navigating and learning new systems

-             Comfortable working in a variety of systems (e.g., Concur, Aggregate Spend platforms, etc.)

-             Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, most importantly Excel for data review, and ability to learn analytics technology tools

-             High level of attention to detail is required

-             Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

-             Ability to accomplish goals with minimal supervision both independently and as a team member

-             Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic and changing environment

-             Ability to manage complexity and ambiguities

-             Compliance experience preferred

-             Life Sciences industry experience strongly preferred
