Informatica Professional Services (IPS) SME/Specialist 2

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the engineering and configuration of Informatica products in the IRS portfolio.

Handle the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of complex ETL workflows.

Support IRS modernization projects and IRS program integration with Informatica services.

Provide performance analysis, including tuning recommendations for high-volume data operations.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of ETL processes, especially Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and Axon Data Governance.

Experience in database optimization (e.g., Greenplum, PostgreSQL, Redshift).

Proficiency in data transformation, data quality, and data privacy management tools within Informatica.

Ability to perform root cause analysis and provide detailed technical guidance for Informatica-related issues.

Competency in 508 compliance for Informatica products.

Certifications:

Informatica Certified Data Integration Specialist.

ITIL Foundation Certification (to manage IT services).

Certified Cloud Practitioner (to support cloud-based deployments in AWS or other platforms).

Experience:

8+ years of experience in Informatica engineering and development roles.

3+ years of experience in data governance and data quality management.

Experience with cloud environments and federal data management systems (preferred).

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.

Industry training in ETL and data integration technologies.
