Job Requirements / Description


The Collibra data catalog tester's responsibilities include participating in testing activities and helping to ensure the successful execution of testing.

Collaborates with teams to identify and resolve issues with Collibra and manages processes to ensure metadata quality.

Executes regression pre and post upgrade Collibra testing for FRBNY business lines and DAO.

Collaborates with teams (NIT, ES, EDD engnireers) to identify and resolve issues with Collibra upgrades

Continuously evaluate, identify and document test cases and test scenarios for new Collibra features and new FRBNY use cases.

Creates facilities for automating testing capabilities for the Collibra platform.

Creates facilities for managing Metadata, develops, executes Collibra APIs, and configures application UI screens.

Works closely with data stewards and data owners to ensure data governance best practices are followed.

Coordinates the actions with the anomaly management process when needed

Coordinates the data resolution activity in parallel with the anomaly management process

Provides expert support to stabilize new services/products and formulate plans to implement the recommendations, working directly with the vendor

In case of anomalies, following the first investigations from the Data Stewards , he will confirm or identify the root causes and works with Data domains, SIE, SLM and other experts to fix root causes as part of the anomaly management process.

Interface with various IT support teams and operational teams for corrective and preventive actions including recommending & proposing tool changes, process changes, process adherence guidelines for identified tool/process issues. She/he documents initiatives for process change or adherence proposals and/or IT fixes recommended in the form of Anomaly Reports [AR] or Requests for Change [RFCs].

In case of anomalies, following the first investigations from the Data TSP298_FR8

Intervenes as a Level 2 expert on the Data Catalog issues/discrepancies identified to investigate/confirms root causes and proposes remediations along with operations, process owners and/or IT teams and drive the fixes in a collaborative manner.

The candidate will confirm or identify the root causes and works with Data domains, SIE, SLM and other experts to fix root causes as part of the anomaly management process.

Interface with various IT support teams and operational teams for corrective and preventive actions including recommending & proposing tool changes, process changes, process adherence guidelines for identified tool/process issues. Skills needed :

Deep understanding of Collibra Data Intelligence Platform

General understanding of Data Mesh platforms – AWS, Databricks, Starburst, Immuta

Deep understanding of integration capabilities for Collibra and Data Mesh platforms.

Quals--

Experience in Collibra Data Catalog build out. Meta data management using Collibra, Databricks, Experience in AWS Cloud resource integration with Collibra. RDBMS and Datawarehouse concepts necessary. Python programming a plus.
