Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a DevOps Engineer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

 

Responsibilities:

Our development team is seeking a Senior Level DevOps Engineer who is comfortable working in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, and GitHub/GitHub Enterprise.  

The ideal candidate would be familiar with supporting Drupal websites or similar web applications built on the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP). 

Configuring Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as Route 53, Simple Email Service (SES), CloudFront, WAF, CloudWatch, and Lambda

Qualifications:

Familiarity automating infrastructure using Terraform

Experience configuring build automation tools such as Jenkins and/or Acquia Pipelines

Experience working collaboratively using version control (Git)

Automation experience implementing Git Hooks and Webhooks

Experience automating quality assurance testing using Cypress or Behat

Strong background in scripting and automation

Agile and Scrum experience

Drupal installation, configuration, and production deployment experience in Acquia Cloud Next

Experience with development tools for local development containerization such as DDEV, Lando, or Docksal

Experience using and configuring Acquia Code Studio

Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence

Experience using data and log management tools such as Cribl and Splunk

Familiarity with application performance monitoring/software observability tools such as New Relic or Dynatrace

Familiarity with web site performance optimization best practices

Drupal 8+ knowledge and experience

Building, extending, and configuring Drupal sites using core and contrib modules

Interest or experience in security (pen testing, identifying and remediating security issues, etc.)

Performance optimization and/or testing experience (Lighthouse testing, JMeter, Varnish reverse caching proxy configuration, Redis, Memcached, etc.)

Drupal or Symfony Certifications

An active player in the open source community (high level of commitment and contribution)
