In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our IT operations, ensuring our systems run smoothly and securely. You’ll have the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, collaborate with a talented team, and make a real impact on our organization’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

System Setup and Maintenance: Be the mastermind behind our servers and workstations. Install, configure, and ensure they work together seamlessly.

Technical Support: Become the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Your problem-solving skills will shine!

System Monitoring: Keep a vigilant eye on system performance, plan for future needs, and ensure our backup and disaster recovery plans are rock-solid.

Security Management: Protect our information fortress by managing user access and implementing top-notch security measures.

System Design and Configuration: Play a key role in designing and configuring systems to meet our evolving needs.

Automation and Scripting: Automate routine tasks and streamline operations using tools like Puppet and Ansible.

Application Support: Support and optimize applications like Artifactory, Jenkins, Linux Postgres, GitLab, Syslog Collector, and Splunk.

Required Skills:

Active Secret Clearance

Proficient in server administration for RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Expertise in managing all aspects of a Linux environment, including scripting.

Knowledge of installing, configuring, and maintaining multiplatform systems hardware, software, and components.

CompTIA Security+ certification.

Knowledge of VMWare/ESX.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in application support for tools like Artifactory, Jenkins, Linux Postgres, GitLab, Syslog Collector, and Splunk.

Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.

Knowledge of containerization technologies.

Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios.

Expertise in automation tools such as Puppet and Ansible.
