Overview:
NaphCare is hiring an IT Infrastructure Technician just like you on-site at our Corporate Headquarters located in Birmingham, AL.
As an IT Infrastructure Technician, you will be expected to provide top tier support related to the design, installation, management, and maintenance of our nationwide network of sites and users.

Responsibilities:
Installation and Configuration: Configure and install desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and associated peripherals. Ensure all related software is properly set up and functioning
Technical Support: Provide technical support for desktop computers, printers, and peripheral equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve hardware and software issues
Network Support: Perform walkthroughs and assess network needs, including determining the number of drops required to provide connectivity to devices in a given area, and document these needs in detail and assist in configuring and troubleshooting network connections for all devices
Documentation: Document each new project and support case thoroughly in our helpdesk ticketing system. Annotate all updates and resolutions to ensure accurate and complete records
Coordination: Coordinate with Naphcare staff, site staff from various departments, and vendors to ensure the successful completion of projects
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all parties involved in projects to facilitate smooth operations and effective troubleshooting in the future
Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team environment and alongside other teams to ensure cohesive support and project execution
Task Driven: Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Travel: Travel as needed to support on-site needs and projects
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a technical support role, ideally in a networked environment
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and common software applications
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
Experience assessing network needs and documenting detailed connectivity requirements
Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
