Software Engineer Test & Verification

Overview: We are seeking a Software Engineer – Test & Verification to join our team in Hazelwood, Missouri.

Role Summary:

The successful candidate will hold an active Secret Security clearance and play a crucial role in the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality for the program

Position Responsibilities:

Set up and configure test environments.

Execute test cases and scenarios to verify the functionality, performance, and safety of software systems.

Identify and report defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during the testing process.

Provide test results and feedback on software design and functionality.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Active Secret Clearance

Proficiency in VB.NET or C#.NET.

Experience with SQL or other relational databases.

Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like xUnit, jUnit, or nUnit.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Knowledge of C++.

Experience with Windows environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server).

Proficiency with project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).

Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines or other CI/CD tools.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Strong mathematical analysis skills or a STEM degree.

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 or more years of related work experience, Master’s Degree with 3 or more years of related work experience, or PhD with relevant experience.
