Direct hire opportunity with our client for an experienced Python Software Engineer.
As a Python Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of software applications. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to design, implement, and maintain high-quality Python-based solutions that drive our business forward.
Essential Functions
Develop and maintain Python-based software applications, ensuring their performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design software solutions, and implement them effectively.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolutions.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our software products.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years of in-depth programming experience.
Python experience, including proficiency in Python libraries and frameworks.
Proven track record of rolling out full-stack applications targeting a quantitative audience.
Solid grasp of discrete math and probability
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
