The IT Manager – Digital Integration Layer (DIL) is part of the AEDPS Solution Engineering organization and is responsible for the rollout of DIL platform and technology components in important enterprise and Digital Technology initiatives.
The incumbent will collaborate closely with project delivery groups across the enterprise and implement the DIL technology components through the lifecycle of the project. The role will have direct responsibility for the DIL instance strategy for all initiatives and will be accountable for effective functioning of all the Cloud technology resources.
The incumbent understands integration issues and opportunities in the context of the business requirements and works with key business and technology stakeholders across the enterprise to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Essential Functions
Strategy & Planning
Lead the development of the DIL instance strategy across Delivery initiatives
Standardize and optimize the utilization of the cloud platform and contribute directly to FinOps
Contribute to Digital Resiliency by effective implementation of DIL resiliency
Be a catalyst to promote the DIL patterns, technical products and capabilities
Collaborate closely with Project delivery groups across the enterprise
Act as a strong Liaison between Project Delivery and other Enablement groups within AEDPS
Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
Ensure a detailed succession plan is in place for both individuals and skills to ensure sufficient staff depth is in place to meet the needs of the business.
Identify and evaluate industry trends in application integration technologies, to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management.
Actively engage business management to ensure business needs and expectations are met.
Facilitate and oversee development of internal team goals.
Support the growth and development of team members and leaders.
Determine staffing and skills requirements.
Acquisition & Deployment
Assist the business and applications teams in alignment of key projects.
Assist with overseeing departmental processes and procedures in support of team goals.
Collaborate closely with Project delivery groups across the enterprise
Following the project intake, provision the necessary DIL platform components
Participate in project and design reviews to evaluate and ensure that the design being applied meets policies, standards, and best practices.
Assist in the evaluation of project requirements and project scoping.
Understand business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific implementation requirements.
Plan and organize tasks, report progress, manage and coordinate with consultants for implementations.
Develop processes, guidelines and framework for rapid development and deployment of services.
Mitigate significant risks associated with large projects, which require new processes and/or involve significant changes to existing processes.
Ability to collaborate with business and technical resources to understand and develop solutions that meet business requirements, translating strategy and objectives when necessary.
Operational Management
Be the operational point of contact for ensuring DIL components are built to standards described by the Integration Architecture team
Participate in project key milestones
Conduct activities like staffing, performance and resource management, and strategic direction of the team.
Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced personnel.
Assist in managing team organizational structure with team vision, goals, and defined roles and responsibilities.
Ensure team responsibility for the global governance, improving processes, accounting and control procedures, and technical accounting issues.
Provide operational guidelines to ensure projects are completed within the appropriate framework.
Develop and maintain understanding of key processes, schedules, cycles, profiles, etc. for the technical systems in use by business.
Incidental Functions
Prepare and lead presentations as requested.
Assist in researching or prototyping new tools and/or technologies.
Lead internal teams/task forces on initiatives as assigned.
Assist with other projects as necessary to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the teamwork.

Formal Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience
12+ years of IT experience.
6+ years of experience managing direct reports.
6+ years implementing and/or supporting software solutions.
Knowledge of the Digital Integration Layer ecosystem comprising of Integration platforms such as OIC, Boomi, Solace etc
Knowledge of Azure Cloud services especially around Azure Integration offerings
Knowledge of modern Integration patterns (Pub/Sub, Event-Driven, Messaging etc)
Knowledge of Terraform modules to provision multiple platform components
Knowledge of system architecture and application delivery methodologies.
Experience with API frameworks
Experience testing, debugging, and diagnosing software bugs and system issues.
Experience in developing documentation, white papers, and presentations to all levels of management and technical staff.

This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.
