Our financial services client is seeking an Application Support Engineer that specializes in maintaining and providing technical support for applications that are beyond the development stage and are currently running in daily operations. You will work closely with development teams, infrastructure partners, and internal/external clients to resolve technical support incidents and ensure smooth operations.

Job Title: Application Support Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Salary: $100K - $110K Max

Bonus: Up to 15%

Important: No C2C, USC and GCH only

Requirements

Support applications built on Java/J2EE, XML, HTML, JavaScript, NodeJS.

Work on Unix, Linux, Windows platforms with SQL/PLSQL databases.

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a distributed environment.

Exposure to containers platforms such as Redhat OpenShift.

Provide technical support for applications in production environments

Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in application support or a related field.

4+ years of experience in Distributed Application Support. (cloud, on-premises, hybrid)

Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, XML, HTML, JavaScript, NodeJS.

Working experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and SQL/PLSQL.

Experience with container platforms like Redhat OpenShift.
