Overview:
JOB TITLE: Systems Administrator (Tier II Support)
GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DOJ EOIR
POSITION INFORMATION: Full-time
LOCATION: Falls Church, VA; Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days telework); initial 30-60 days will be 100% onsite due to current DOJ EOIR policy
POSITION TIMING: Position requires candidate to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance which can take 4-6 weeks to process and must be complete prior to starting employement

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tier II customer support
Managing Windows 11 Operating Systems
Managing Server 2022 and upgrade path for previous versions
Imaging desktops/ laptops
Troubleshooting VPN connectivity
Providing support for Office 2016 / O365 applications
Troubleshoot Zscaler issues
Perform testing and installations of software.
Security vulnerability management.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
Ability to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance (must be obtained prior to start date).
7+ years of related IT experience
Windows 10 and Server 2022 experience.
Tier II support experience
Office 365 troubleshooting
VPN troubleshooting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
BigFix and SCCM experience preferred.
Scripting experience preferred.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience (4 additional years)
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Candidate must be able to function in general office environment.
The person in this position must have the ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
